Hello, hi & welcome back! I'm excited to share my adorable Crochet Heart Garland free crochet pattern! These cute crochet hearts are super quick and easy to whip up and make the perfect festive addition to your Valentine's party decor and/or hung as garland over the buffet or mantle!
Each heart is worked in flat rows of single crochet with the border added at the end. The finished hearts measure approximately 3.5"wide x 3.5" tall. The hearts are strung together on the back side using jute, but yarn or ribbon could be used for variation. You could easily make larger hearts by increasing your yarn and crochet hook sizes.

Tie off and pull through the chain stitch to secure
Join on the opposite side of the 10th row and repeat rows 11-13, but do not tie off.
We are going to create a border around the heart to clean up the edges.
Chain 1, continue down the curve of the heart with 2 SC, slip stitch into the center stitch we skipped on row 10 and continue SC around until you've reached the bottom point.
Chain 1 in between the 2 SC on the bottom point of the heart.
Continue SC around until you've created a border around the entire heart.
Slip stitch into the first stitch of the border.
Chain 1, tie off pulling through the chain stitch to secure.
Weave in loose ends and trim any excess yarn.
I hope you have enjoyed creating with me! I had so much fun designing this crochet heart garland!
