EASY Pumpkin Cheese Ball Recipe (Halloween/Thanksgiving Party Food)

Hello, hi & welcome back! Today, I'm excited to share with you my recipe (okay I stole the base of the recipe from my mom) for a super cute Pumpkin Cheese Ball! Mom's cheese balls are always a hit at our holiday parties so I thought I'd give it a fun Halloween twist by making it look like a pumpkin for our upcoming Halloween Party!

Don't forget to pin this recipe for later!

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese

  • 1 Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar

  • 1 Cup Shredded Colby Jack

  • 1 Packet Ranch Dressing Mix (powder; NOT the dip mix)

  • Large Bell Pepper Stem

  • Crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos

  • Plastic Wrap

  • Yarn/String

  • Combine Cream Cheese, Shredded Cheddar, Shredded Colby and Ranch Powder in a mixing bowl. I use my hands to properly squish it all together. A spoon just doesn't do the trick.

  • Form a ball and roll in crushed Doritos until the entire outside is covered in orange.

  • Wrap the entire cheese ball in plastic wrap (not too tight; leave a little room to change shape in the next step).

  • Using yarn or string, create the pumpkiny-curves!

  • This can be stored in the fridge until ready to serve. I prepped mine the night before and left it in the fridge until right before we left.

  • Serving: Remove the string/plastic wrap and place the bell pepper stem on top! Serve with crackers or veggies or anything that you like with cheesy-ranch!

I hope you have enjoyed creating with me!
