Pattern Design + Construction:

Spooky season is one of my favorites! These adorable little crochet ghosts can be used as fun toys, trick-or-treat companions or photo props for little ones. This pattern is great for amigurumi beginners! It's quick and uses simple, basic stitches.

Each mini ghost amigurumi is comprised of the body, arms and bottom which are crocheted separately, stuffed with fiberfill and stitched together using a tapestry needle. The finished crochet ghost measures approximately 2.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall. You can easily create a larger ghost by using a larger crochet hook and bulkier yarn.

Yarn:

We're using medium (4) worsted weight yarn for our crochet mini ghost design! I love working with worsted weight yarn in most of my projects since it's affordable, versatile, durable and abundantly available in most local craft stores. I keep a variety of colors on hand for when inspiration strikes! You could easily substitute for another worsted weight yarn as long as the ounces per gram are similar.

For this tutorial, I'm using:

  • Red Heart Super Saver, Medium 4, 7 oz / 198 g. in the color White

Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in White is used for the Crochet Mini Ghost free pattern!
