Pattern Design + Construction
Ever since my niece and nephew were born, I've loved to make fun crochet loveys and toys for them! This year for Halloween, I was inspired to design a Ghost Cuddler and a Pumpkin Cuddler! I sketched out simple shapes that would be both adorable and beginner friendly to crochet.
Using basic crochet stitches makes this pattern great for beginners! The small size of the crochet ghost makes this project a perfect gift for little ones and it works up quickly. It would also be simple to increase yarn and hook sizes to create a larger ghost!
The finished Crochet Ghost Cuddler measures approximately 7 inches tall by 5 inches wide. This free pattern includes the front, back and cute little arms. The front and back are worked into flat rows to create the ghost shape. The arms are worked in continuous rounds. We will also be stitching on an adorable little face and adding a bit of stuffing to create a soft and squishy cuddler!

Yarn:
For our Crochet Ghost Cuddler, we'll be using medium Worsted Weight (4) Yarn. It's versatile and wears well while also being soft and cozy which is perfect for a cuddler pattern! You could easily substitute brands of worsted weight yarn for a similar outcome as long as the ounces per gram are similar. I used Red Heart Super Saver since I had some on hand and it's an affordable yarn option.
For this project, I used Red Heart Super Saver, Medium 4, 7 oz / 198 g in the following colors:
