Crochet bunny rabbit free pattern is perfect for Easter!

Pattern Design + Construction:

My inspiration for this bunny design was to make an adorable crochet stuffed animal for my niece and nephew's Easter baskets! I got to sketching and had no idea a little bunny could turn out so cute! I love the kawaii look of the larger head, widespread eyes and droopy arms. The sweet little face instantly draws out an 'awe!!!'

This pattern uses simple stitches to create a multi-piece project that transforms into a cohesive, finished piece. I've received a lot of feedback that this pattern worked well for amigurumi beginners who were moving on to larger projects. My niece named hers 'Bun Bun' and dresses it up with baby clothes.

This Crochet Bunny Rabbit free pattern is comprised of the body, head, arms and ears which are crocheted separately, stuffed and stitched together using a tapestry needle. The finished bunnies measure approximately 12" tall. If you'd like to increase the size of your bunny, you could easily use a larger yarn and crochet hook!

Yarn:

I chose to use medium Worsted Weight (4) Yarn for my crochet bunny rabbit pattern. It is my favorite yarn to work with for amigurumi and it has a great price point. It's versatile and wears well while also being soft and cozy which is perfect for a stuffed animal pattern! You could easily substitute brands of worsted weight yarn as long as the ounces per gram are similar. I used Red Heart Super Saver since I had plenty of colors on hand. I've been tagged in so many pics of others' bunnies in all different colors! They each turn out unique and absolutely adorable!

For this tutorial, I used Red Heart Super Saver, Medium 4, 7 oz / 198 g in the following colors:

  • White

  • Café Latte

For the noses, I used a light beige and a light pink. I'm sorry I don't have the color names for you!
